Collection: Thé du Sichuan

Sichuan is one of the oldest tea-producing regions in China. For more than a thousand years, tea has been grown on its mountains, where cool mist, abundant rainfall and fertile soils continue to shape leaves of remarkable freshness and clarity. This collection brings together teas from different parts of the province, from the historic gardens of Mengding Mountain to the high valleys around Ya'an and beyond. Green teas remain Sichuan's best-known tradition, but the region also produces distinctive yellow, black and dark teas, each reflecting its own landscape and local craft. Rather than searching for rarity, we look for teas that express their origin with honesty—the same mountains, the same makers, the same careful work repeated season after season. These are teas shaped by place long before they became products.
