My Notes
The dry leaves open with a fruity aroma reminiscent of peach pit, supported by the sweetness of sugar cane and the gentle nuttiness of dried almond. A subtle creamy note rounds the profile, while a delicate layer of gardenia blossom lends freshness and lift. Once infused, the leaves reveal greater depth: sugar cane sweetness emerges first over a nutty foundation, followed by soft gardenia florals before settling into a smooth, creamy finish. As the leaves cool, a fresh ginger plant note gradually appears, adding a lively herbal nuance.
The liquor is remarkably soft and effortless to drink, with a rounded texture that encourages one sip after another. A lingering sweetness remains after each cup, giving the finish a generous, comforting character that is more indulgent than refined. From the second infusion onward, the tea gains in intensity as the floral profile moves to the forefront. Gardenia becomes more expressive while the aftertaste settles into a harmonious balance of lingering sweetness and elegant floral notes.
