With its fine texture and strong plasticity, this clay contains an Fe2O3 content of ≥6%. Fired in the kiln, it transforms into a warm, translucent red color. Highly prized for its smooth surface and excellent water absorption and air permeability, Chaozhou Zhu Ni clay is favored for crafting exquisite pottery and sculptures.
