My Notes
The first nose shows delicate, well-integrated roasted brioche notes, indicative of a well-controlled roasting. The profile is elegant and refined more than robust, with aromas that are both round and deep, yet airy, enhanced by a subtle malty note that brings an indulgent dimension. Once wet, the leaves reveal their terroir. The minerality blends harmoniously with both floral and woody notes, and the subtle malty hint lingers in the background.
On the palate, the tea is powerful yet remains round and approachable. Its beautiful structure revolves around woody notes, with a subtle sweet hint in the background. After a few infusions, the tea moves between indulgence and elegance, revealing white floral tones reminiscent of ginger flower with a slightly peppery touch. The finish is fresh, yet clearly shows that the tea still needs time to fully integrate its roast. This is a tea to be enjoyed on its own or paired with light snacks such as almonds or cashews
