Feng Lai Yi, the phoenix’s auspicious arrival, is a celebration of Lao Cong Dancong teas from Chaozhou’s Feng Huang Mountain — a landscape of misted peaks, ancient bushes, and enduring craft. Each tea in this collection comes from aged bushes tended by village growers and producers we’ve worked with for many years. These are living heirlooms, passed down through generations, rooted in both soil and memory. After processing, the mao chas are roasted by Brother Huang, born and raised on the mountain, who uses traditional charcoal fire to bring out the quiet complexity of each tea — floral, fruity, spiced, or mineral.Presented in three elegant boxes, the set features eighteen distinct teas, each selected from different village clusters across Feng Huang. Together, they offer a rare portrait of the region’s tea — shaped by place, by family, and by fire. Feng Lai Yi is more than a tasting — it is an encounter with lineage, terroir, and the subtle power of time.
