This gaiwan entirely hand made is decorated in a Qing Hua style. This graceful covered tea cup is made from the very fine porcelain and is hand painted using free style technic. The porcelain is so fine that if you put it under the light, you can see your finger through it. This genuine item can be used to brew delicate teas like green or white teas or used for display.
This is a sweet, unpretentious, beautifully formed, and friendly little gaiwan. Its small size makes it perfect for my by-myself drinking. I love the natural sweep of the painted lines. This gaiwan is in constant happy use.
