Origine : Feng Huang Mountain, Shi Gu Ping Town, Chao Zhou city, Guang Dong Province. Plantation attitude : 650 meters above sea level. Plantation varietals : Shui Xian variety. Certification : Small production directly from local farmer. Notice : One of the oldest oolong teas of Guangdong Province. It holds a similar form than the famous Dancong teas. But, with its special deep green color (of dry leaves and wet leaves) and unique Gardenia jasminoides fragrance, which make it a popular oolong for the local people. Dry leaves appearance : The leaves are nicely rolled into long stripes. The leaves are thick, rough, and holding a deep green color. The greenish-yellow color veins of the leaves are obvious with a hard texture. Some fine white hairs are found one the back of the leaves. Fragrance : Sweet and high fruity/flowery fragrance in good purity. A fresh creamy aroma appears on the back. Liquor : Shinny and “greasy” yellow liquor has an excellent clarity. The liquor offers a thick and heavy weighted feeling in the mouth. The liquor is "oily" and smooth but followed by a wild powerful feeling right after. Taste : The texture is very flattering in the mouth, which is thick and oily. The tea taste is strong combined with a lovely Gardenia jasminoides fragrance that is sweet and pleasant. After 2 to 3 brews, the tea taste and the floral aroma are perfectly mixed that offers a refreshing mouth feeling. The taste is simply pure and exquisite that followed by a long lasted “Hui Gan (after taste)”. - ORDER A SAMPLE -
