This Wu Yi oolong has been stored for 3 years to develop its liquor and the goal was quite well achieved. It starts with a sweet and delicate smell of dry plum with the dry leaves which remains with the wet leaves but with some sweet acidity notes. The liquor is mellow and thick with a clear plumy tea. The acidity reminding you that you are drinking a Wu Yi rock tea is here but do not overpowered the gustative experience. The tea finishes with a mix of light fruitiness and vegetal hints during the aftertaste. During the second brew, the acidity becomes a little bit stronger and some flowery notes come to compliment the fruitiness of this Wu Yi. This tea will be a good companion for breakfast or afternoon tea. - ORDER A SAMPLE -
