Jin Fo is quite a new rock tea that was created by the Wuyi Shan Jin Fo Tea Researching Center around 10 years ago. The name Jin Fo means golden buddha in English, which is different than most of the other Wuyi rock teas that are mainly named by flowers. Differing from the usual one, which is heavily roasted and carries an orange skin hint along with its floral fragrance. This Jin Fo king carries another feature. Because the lighter roasted step, a deep green hint still shines out from the dark tea leaves. The leaves are very well processed that are even and carefully rolled into beautiful stripes. The fragrance is high and deep. Sweet fruity aroma mixed with smoky and warm cereal hint. Pleasent. After the first rinse, it shows a sweet and lovely creamy aroma. The liquor is lightly orange with a mellow and sweet taste. The creamy, floral aroma sinks to the bottom of the cup after drinking it up. As this tea is young, but already good it is a unique opportunity for Oolong tea lovers to follow the evolution a tea from its early time.
