Plantation attitude : 350 meters above sea level.

Plantation varietals : Original Long Jing tea variety.

Certification : Small production directly from local farmer.

Notice : Harvested from aged trees.

Dry leaves appearance : Leaves are skinny and “unevenly” shaped due to the age of the tea trees and the fully hand processing method. The “Yu Ye (fish leaves)” are the guaranties of the first picked of the year.
Yellowish-green color leaves presents the traditional “Cao Mi Se (brown rice color)” which is a character of Shi Feng Long Jing producing areas.

Fragrance : Pleasant and deep “sauté” bean fragrance in good purity, which is high and yet delicate.

Liquor : Shinny and “grassy” pale yellow liquor with excellent clarity that tells the tea is indeed a high mountain plantation. Thick and “oily” liquor offers a good mouth feeling, which is smooth and lively.

Taste : Freshness is the first impression to the pallet. It shows a slight citrus hint at the beginning then brings out a pronouncing nutty flavor. The fragrance is subtle but announcing that can be felt deeply on the back. The taste is sweet and exquisite that followed by a long lasted “Hui Gan (after taste)”.

The ultimate Long Jing, 02 Jun 2008
by John

Ths is a wonderful example of Long Jing: tiny, delicate pale leaves, with the perfect balance of Long Jong flavors: vegetal, astringent, faint chestnut flavor, slightly sweet with a creamy mouthfeel.
