A new arrival at Jing Tea Shop. This oolong tea race is named Ba Xian, which is a less well known oolong product among the Anxi oolongs. It is processed along the traditional way of oolong making in Anxi, which came through a right fermentation and baking. The leaves are carefully rolled with an even and uniformed appearance and color. Also, it is baked with wood charcoal fire, which offers this lovely oolong tea a pleasant honey touch. The liquor is thick and shiny with a very good clarity. The heavy liquor is very rich and complex and yet smooth. Because of the long time and low temperature wood charcola baking, this oolong tea gives a honey like sweetness to the mouth with a grapefruit flower like floral flavor at the finishing. The "Ba Xian Yun" is rather obvious during the aftertaste, which is slightly astringent combined with a delicate creamy hint.
