This is a really nice cooked pu-erh, especially for the price. I have to be careful not to brew this one too long. For the first 3-4 steeps, I pour it out of my gaiwan as fast as I can (~10 seconds), or else it will be a little bitter. If I time it right, it is nicely sweet, a "round" flavor (I don't know why that word came to mind) with hints of caramel and chocolate. It starts to lose flavor after 3-5 pours, but those 3-5 are quite nice! I will definitely buy more, for this price. |
