One of the rare wuyi oolong varities - Huang Mei Gui (a.k.a. Yellow Rose) is now available again at Jing Tea Shop. This batch is from the 2006 spring harvest. After a year of storing, it is now ready to meet wuyi oolong tea lovers. As what we had introduced before, this is a rather new and successful creation of the Wuyi Shan tea researching center. After a few years, it is now getting quite well recognized and popular. The leaves of this tea carry a dark cinnamon color with thin white frost on the surface. The aroma is high and deep with a honey hint. The liquor has a bright amber color with good clarity, which is heavy and rich in the mouth. It carries a particular flavor that is similar than the aroma of rose petals. The after taste is long and sweet combined with a tiny astringent hint for the finishing. - ORDER A SAMPLE -
