Ying De red tea is a famous red tea from Guangdong province. It holds a strong and long appearance, which is unusual for red teas. The Autumn harvest has a quite thin liquor compare to the spring tea and offers a delightful caramel taste. This lovely Chinese red tea goes also very well with milk and sugar that makes it a nice tea to brew mike tea in the morning or the afternoon.
This tea is not bad, flavor profile is sour, if that makes any sense. It is pleasant by itself, but works best in a blend. I blend this with other Yunnan black teas, preferably one with some mild smokiness. In a blend this really gives a nice depth to the tea, quite tasty
