It is made with only spring first pick buds, therefore, the quantity is rather limited. Dry leaves appearance : The leaves are tightly rolled into thin stripes. The tea carries a big amount of tender golden color buds. Fragrance : The leaves offer a high, rich and long sweet honey aroma with subtle orchid fragrance on the back. Because the tendeness of the tea leaves, this Hao Ya Keemun offers a more pronouncing sweet fragrance than other familly members. Liquor : The liquor is rich and bright that shows a orangish red color with a big shiny golden ring around the cup. it has an excellent clarity. The texture is silky which slides down to the throat when you drink it. Taste : The taste is unforgetable. The texture is very smooth, mellow, and sweet. Its particular mature apple like fruity flavor is running all over the mouth and a thin but exquisite floral taste goes through the top of the mouth to the nose.
