These oolong teas are brought directly back from Long Juan Village, Anxi County during our harvesting trip to Anxi this autumn.
1 - Unblended organic Superior Hong Xin Tie Guan Yin
Harvested on the "Han Lu" day, which is the start of the best harvesting period of autumn in Anxi. Harvested from our friends organic farm, which is located on mountains at 650 ~ 800 meters above sea level. Because of the organic fertilizer that used, this Tie Guan Yin has thick, soft, and heavy weighted leaves.
2 - 1997 aged Tie Guan Yin
Very well kept by its maker, in Long Juan village. The tea has a nice texture and nice flowery flavor that stays in the aftertaste. Sweet and a touch acidic, this tea has not been rebaked and offer an insight on what was the first year of Tie Guan Yin making in Long Juan which is originally a place that cultivates mainly Se Zhong.
3 - Unblended organic Jin Guan Yin Made from Huang Jin Gui and Tie Guan Yin, This tea shows more Huang Jin Gui chararcter with its high fragrance in my opinion but the tea exhibits Guan Yin touches with a long aftertaste and a medium sweetness. Note: A little bit of tea leaves has been disposed at the bottom of the canisters to ensure that the tea will kept well.
