Another exquisite piece from famous Yao Bian Yixing Teapot Master Huo Jian Min. For the last 4 years, Jing Tea Shop has mainly sold little teapot from this Yixing Teapot workshop. But, we are happy to have found this lovely teapot which is of a bigger volume. The theme, squirrel and grapes, is one of the most famous Yixing teapot theme most of the time executed in simplicity but here the Yixing teapot master has chosen to work the theme in a more complicate way. The spout and handle of the teapot represent the vine in a delicate way and the whole Yixing teapot shows a great dedication to details. Green tea and high fragrance oolong tea will be preferred for this type of clay but yellow teacan also be brewed in this Yixing after a good seasonning. Excellent pouring, no dripping. The 4 tea cups are from the same Yixing teapot workshop as the teapot.
