This top notch Bai Hao Yin Zhen has a really pale liquor and a nose that reminds of roasted green bean with a hint of sweet cereals. A very delicate white tea with a thick body, some mild sweetness, flowery aroma, and an edge of eggy touch.
Entirely hand-made and sun dried white tea made using Fu Ding Da Bai Hao tips. This high quality Yin Zhen white tea exhibits a good amount of white fur on a healthy pale green tea leaf. This is a sign of quality in Yin Zhen tea as fully white leaves (fur and leaf) show that the tea went through a process using "liu huang" which consists in making the overall looking of the tea whiter.
