Jiang Mu dancong tea is another favorite of the local people in Wu Dong and its production is very limited, This particular dancong tea comes from a tree that is over 100 year old and that can only produce 5 to 6 kilo of mao cha a year, that leaves about 2.5 to 3kg of clean tea. The tightly evenly rolled leaves show a dark green hue with the traditional yellow shade. Their aromas is reminiscent of cooked water chestnut with a mild flowery touch. When wet, a beautiful floweriness arise from the leaves with touches of nuts. The liquor is thick with the fruity touch in the back and the main character of this tea is a high yet delicate aroma of ginger flower. Good durability and beautiful aftertaste for this oolong tea.
