Harvested from tea trees that are over 400 years old in the Wu Dong Mountain (Chao An county), this Feng Huang Song Zhong Dancong tea shows tender leaves that were carefully hand rolled and baked according to traditional processing called "Zhong Pei".The tea leaves carry a lovely golden color, which is very rare among the heavily baked dancong oolong teas. The liquor of the tea has a complex color spectrum balancing between golden and yellow which delivers an exquisite floral fragrance completed with a subtle taste of honey that offers a long and complex aftertaste. We recommend to sip a little bit of dancong tea, keep the liquor in your mouth, and take a good breathe. You should be able to experience the Qi of this tea. This Song Zhong dancong can be brewed over 20 times (Gong Fu style) and still holds its exquisite fragrance even by the time the color of the liquor is vanishing. The leaves of this rare dancong turns into more yellow along with the brewing, which is an obvious character of the dancong tea that is harvested from the Wu Dong Mountain.
