Net weight : 25gr/0.88 oz

Harvesting : Spring 2010

Plantation varietals : Rou Gui

Grade : AA

Origine : Da Ping Village, Anxi County, Fujian Province

Plantation attitude : 400 ~ 600 meters above sea level

Notice : The Rou Gui varietal is originated from An Xi and was then took to Wu Yi, not the other way around.

Dry leaves appearance : Small leaves evenly rolled. The color shows that the tea was baked evenly as well (We bought this tea unbaked and baked it ourselves).

Aroma : Flowery, melon, cinnamon

Liquor : The fruity and cinnamon aromas are found very clearly in this mellow medium-bodied liquor which provides a good length with taste building up nicely cups after cups. This spring harvested added up a lovely milky white flower aroma all way along with each brews.

Zi Sha Recommendation : Qing Shui Ni, Xiao Hong Ni, Zi Ni, Duan Ni (if the walls are thick)

The first aroma is like a Taiwan Ah li Shan. The taste is orchidaceous, florid but dry not sweet, richly fragrant and intense unlike any Taiwan tea. Further steeps release a glorious rich and layered set of floral flavours, a buttery thick body and one is transported into the realms of magic and fantasy. This is the tea they drink in Hong Lou Meng. Aromas and flavours merge into a single sensuous continuity; yet it remains light and fresh with rich green and golden liquor far removed from a Wuyi rou gui.
