Cooked pu erh tea is usually a market that is reserved to Meng Hai Tea Factory. No new players or even olders have been able to achieve the level of high quality fermentation from the famous factory. However, the quality of Meng Hai Tea Factory cooked pu erh has slowly, but surely, gone down with very lightly fermented product while Xing Hai has been able to develop great skills in fermentation. Xing Hai is clearly positioning itself as one of the big player on the cooked pu erh tea market.
High quality leaves harvesting from trees (not bushes) located on Bu Lang Mountain, well compressed with just enough tips to mellow the liquor. Dry leaves give a pleasant nutty fragrance which can be food in the liquor and the wet leaves. Smooth and thick liquor with the typical "water" flavor of young well fermented pu erh tea. This is a pleasant tea to put on the side for a couple of years to leave it some time to work on the quality of its liquor and aroma.
